In the case of Maryland, the 8 counties closest to Washington D.C. are joined up with the Capital and matched up with China’s capital, Beijing, for prayer.

The remaining 16 counties of Maryland match up perfectly with the 16 counties of Tianjin, a small province/city located just east of Beijing along China’s near-northeastern coast.
